Characters with this qualification are able to maintain their in-character voice and performance style while, as much as possible, ensuring accurate articulation, clear expression, natural flow of speech, and relatively stable language performance.

It should be noted that not all hitorino characters hold such professional qualifications.

Also, the Mandarin Broadcasting / Hosting Qualification and a character’s professional voice-acting ability rating are different dimensions: the former mainly reflects a professional background in Mandarin pronunciation, articulation, and verbal expression, while the latter is a comprehensive evaluation of a character’s overall performance in actual voice acting, show performances, and vocal expression.

Taking the lineup in the second half of 2026 as an example: among the 10 characters currently公开 on the hitorino official website, only 2 have not yet reached the professional-level voice-acting standard.

For characters rated at professional level or above, we can usually maintain a high and stable vocal performance in videos that have undergone production and quality control. However, there is a clear difference between recorded videos and live streams: especially in live-streaming environments that run continuously for several hours, even professional performers cannot guarantee there will be absolutely no slips of the tongue, swallowed syllables, changes in speaking speed, or pronunciation deviations from start to finish—though the human factors affecting listening are relatively fewer. Therefore, we recommend viewers use this rating as a reference standard when evaluating video-based voice content.

At present, hitorino’s professional voice-acting ability is divided into the following four levels:

• Flagship (Top-tier)

hitorino’s highest level of vocal performance rating. In addition to all the abilities required at the professional level, this level reflects more mature experience in articulation, breath control, speech rhythm, emotional expression, and stability during long performances. Its professionalism is usually noticeably perceptible.

• Excellent (Professional)

hitorino’s current mainstream professional standard. The character can maintain a distinctive and competitive in-character voice while keeping pronunciation relatively accurate, clear, and natural at normal to slightly slower speaking speeds, and also demonstrates relatively mature breath control and vocal performance ability.

It should be noted that once a character has reached the professional level, further improvement tends to show clear diminishing marginal returns. As a result, the actual audible gap between top-tier and professional is usually not as significant as the improvement from “premium” or “amateur” up to professional.

• Premium

The character already has a fairly distinctive vocal style and some level of vocal performance ability, but there are still noticeable shortcomings in areas such as articulation, pronunciation stability, breath control, performance experience, or recording/microphone environment.

• Amateur

The character has not received systematic professional voice-acting training and has no relevant work experience or professional background; overall vocal performance is close to an average person’s natural level.

MMPI-2 (Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory-2) is a standardized psychological assessment tool widely used in the field of psychological evaluation.

Most hitorino characters and operational staff have undergone the corresponding psychological assessments and achieved results that meet the relevant standards.

This label is mainly used to indicate that the member has received relatively systematic evaluations of psychological state and personality traits, as part of health management and occupational fitness assessments.

This label indicates that, in accordance with hitorino’s current applicable personnel management standards, the character has completed the relevant physical health checkups and psychological status assessments, and was found to be in physical and psychological condition sufficient to meet the needs of normal performances and long-term content production. It is particularly important to note that all characters and operators are fully capable of bearing legal and criminal responsibility within their respective operating regions, ensuring the legality and compliance of services.

hitorino hopes that characters can participate in long-term operations in a stable, healthy, and responsible manner. Therefore, during normal activities, we принципally do not use personal physical or mental health issues as marketing tactics, nor do we proactively use such issues to attract attention, sympathy, gifts, or donations from viewers.

This label indicates that the character has completed and passed the hitorino virtual streamer examination and foundational professional training system.

The assessment not only focuses on the character’s on-show performance ability, but also includes basic professional conduct, public communication skills, and the risk awareness required for long-term participation in virtual entertainment content production.

The training and assessment content includes, but is not limited to:

• Standard performance etiquette and basic professional norms
• Conduct and speech when performing publicly
• Boundary awareness and professional distance when interacting with viewers
• Regional, cultural, and geopolitical sensitivity
• Public online expression and public-opinion risk awareness
• Basic privacy protection and information security awareness
• Response guidelines for controversies, emergencies, and sensitive topics

Characters who pass the examination should be able to maintain appropriate speech and behavior and a good professional demeanor during normal activities, and comply with hitorino’s basic norms regarding audience relationships and commercial behavior.

This includes: not proactively asking viewers for donations or gifts, not pressuring viewers emotionally to spend money, and not treating viewers in a manner that clearly lacks professional decorum.
