Furthermore, this update marks the first public reveal of in-engine real-time rendering footage for Heaven's Meridian: Valhalla, giving everyone a clearer preview of the project's visual fidelity while significantly elevating the viewer experience.
Single-Player Campaign
The artistic vision we pursue at hitorino is built upon the grounded aesthetic of cinema, seamlessly integrated with highly polished anime-style visual expression, cinematic camerawork, dramatic voice acting, a weighty orchestral score, distinctive storyboarding, and intense visual composition. By meticulously crafting character emotions, we strive to immerse adult and mature audiences who may feel alienated by conventional anime subculture—and even academic cinephiles in the West who are typically indifferent to anime—into this vivid, substantial artistic experience.
Heaven's Meridian: Valhalla Poster
Heaven's Meridian: Valhalla is a standalone, premium buy-to-play game developed and published independently by hitorino interactive, serving as the studio's flagship title. Centered around cinematic storytelling and positioned as an independent "Near-AA" game, the story takes place in Norway during the 2040s.
The narrative follows Hikari Sugami and Nøva Sunnuve, the two heiresses of Raven Corporation, Norway's leading biotechnology enterprise.
This work explores not only the deep, tender, and heavy emotional bond between two sisters, but also traces the nuanced journey of a young woman driven by loss, vengeance, and responsibility—from her initial innocence to the pinnacle of power, ultimately becoming a revered and formidable leader: the origin story of "The Black Raven."
Definition of "Independent Near-AA": Indicates that hitorino interactive operates with technical development capabilities, production standards, and overall presentation noticeably exceeding typical indie and solo-developer benchmarks. While resource constraints and team size prevent direct comparisons with large-scale commercial productions in raw content volume, we aim to match the presentation quality, core tech, and audiovisual polish of higher-budget commercial titles.

Story Synopsis
Independently developed by hitorino interactive, please look forward to Fire & Blood, the debut cinematic trailer for the cinematic anime narrative game Heaven's Meridian: Valhalla. Completely handcrafted, it is slated for release between late this year and early next year.
Following the shocking "Sunnuve Family Massacre" that shook the world... in a single night, a prominent family was destroyed. Father Harald Sunnuve and younger sister Nøva Sunnuve perished in the tragedy.
In that same catastrophe, the eldest daughter, Hikari Sugami, was presumed dead and vanished from public view.
Gravely injured and on the brink of death, Hikari survived only through ethically controversial cybernetic prosthetic reconstruction. That surgery not only rebuilt her shattered body, but fundamentally altered the course of her life. From appearance to temperament, the familiar young woman transformed into a cold, commanding, and formidable presence—she had virtually become someone else entirely.
Years later, having long shed her past naivety and innocence, she re-emerges as the true helm of Raven Industries, the Norwegian biotech giant, under the moniker "The Black Raven."
In the Fire & Blood trailer, upon discovering definitive intelligence on the masterminds behind the massacre, she leads an elite tactical squad—augmented through Raven Industries' cutting-edge cybernetics and gene enhancement—composed of seasoned veterans and enhanced operatives. Wielding power unprecedented in the civilized world, she sets out on a path of retribution against those who took everything from her.
Yet this vengeance irrevocably alters the destiny of Norway and the trajectory of the world.
From that day forward, she became known as the Guardian of Norway—The Black Raven, finally shedding the last trace of gentleness in fire and blood, completing her ultimate metamorphosis from survivor to avenger, and ultimately into a ruthless leader.
