Efficiency Update (May 2025)|Workflow Unification & 2D/3D Integration
Welcome to the May 2025 Efficiency Update.
Based on long-term community feedback, we have identified optimization opportunities in the production workflows of certain artists involved in our regular virtual idol content. This update focuses on improving process standardization, cross-platform creative flexibility, and consistency between 2D and 3D elements.
- Between March and April 2025, we acquired one TourBox Elite Plus, two TourBox Neo units, and two TourBox Lite devices. We have fully transitioned to TourBox Elite Plus and Neo as the primary shortcut input devices, replacing the previously widely-used Razer Tartarus V2 keypads. This unification has streamlined our hardware input system.
- With standardized workflows in place, we have begun incorporating iPad Pro into our toolchain, allowing certain artists to make productive use of fragmented time for sketching and illustration.
- Leveraging the highly integrated and autonomous hitorino production pipeline, we now incorporate 3D base models and character components—originally created by our 3D artists—into 2D illustration workflows. This enables consistent proportions, structural accuracy, and perspective alignment across different artworks, significantly reducing the cost of visual coherence.
This update applies only to selected artists involved in routine virtual idol content.
