Introduction
The heir to the throne of the Requiem Empire, the most powerful civilization in the known universe, Limelight is the only daughter of Akakushi Akane and Akakushi Mana. While on Earth, she uses “Schofield,” the surname her mother once used while living as a commoner in her youth.
As the heir to the Empire and an agent of the Creator, Limelight was born with the destiny of one day becoming the “Emperor of Humanity.”
Despite her exalted status as the Empress of the Empire and sovereign of the galaxy, Limelight was raised from childhood within a civilization so overwhelmingly powerful that it had virtually no equal. Having spent most of her life receiving an elite education designed specifically to prepare her for imperial rule, she inevitably lacks familiarity with the lifestyles and social conventions of other civilizations throughout the universe, as well as many everyday concepts and assumptions that ordinary people would consider common knowledge.
After receiving intelligence that her parents had once again been sighted on Earth, Limelight decided to travel there before her coronation ceremony. Together with her mentor, Rania Runis, she came to Earth from the Requiem Empire of a parallel universe. Concealing her true identity, she presents herself as a retainer knight serving under Professor Rania.
During her activities on Earth, Limelight unexpectedly rescues a human girl named Nøva Sunnvei and eventually falls in love with her. However, the appearance and combat habits she inherited from her father provoke the hostility of Eva Exile, the current Commander of the Knight Order, who had once been both her father’s greatest rival and his rival in love. At the same time, Maozhu Lixing begins to suspect Limelight’s true identity.
What Limelight does not yet realize, however, is that she is gradually being drawn into a struggle of competing interests—one that was set in motion by the deaths of her own parents.

Curator’s Review
Gentle and gracious, Limelight is one of the most approachable and beginner-friendly characters in hitorino-II. She inherits personality traits from two first-generation characters and was raised under royal tutelage with her parents’ loving care. Despite her status as the future empress, she knows little of Earth’s social conventions. Pure-hearted and often absorbed in sweet romantic fantasies, she moves viewers with her sincerity and innocence. We encourage audiences to appreciate this quality—never to exploit it.
Limelight has two sharply contrasting voices: one conveys the sovereign authority of a Requiem Empress, while the other reveals her true self as an innocent young woman. The latter is the voice most viewers will come to know.
