Introduction
A Fleeting Moment of Happiness
Raised in Japan, Hikari inherited her mother’s reserved and restrained temperament. Her ethereal beauty and long jet-black hair inspire both awe and distance. She once shared a brief but happy childhood with Nøva in Norway before returning East to live under her mother’s exacting expectations. Eventually, she returned to Norway to attend a local medical university and prepare to succeed her father.
Hikari has a younger half-sister, Nøva, whose mother was an ordinary Norwegian woman—entirely unlike Hikari’s aristocratic mother. After leaving Asia, Harald secretly began a new family. When he suddenly returned to Norway with young Hikari and her mother, the hidden relationship came to light, with severe consequences. As the heiress to a powerful Asian dynasty, Hikari’s mother initially intended to eliminate Nøva. The plan was stopped only by Hikari and Harald’s determined intervention. Even so, Hikari’s mother turned to tormenting the young Nøva instead. Through this painful period, Hikari’s unwavering comfort and support became Nøva’s refuge, deepening the sisters’ bond. Their peace did not last: when Hikari reached school age, she had to return to Asia, and Nøva’s fate thereafter became unknown.
Ten years later, Hikari returns to Norway after her father abruptly summons her to transfer into a local biomedical program and prepare to inherit the family business. Hikari herself has no interest in succession; she wants only to reunite with the family who truly matters to her.
Though she appears every bit the graceful Yamato Nadeshiko, in truth she is an unabashed little-sister fanatic.

Curator’s Review
This poised Yamato Nadeshiko from East Asia is not easy to approach. Hikari is eloquent, well read, and unfailingly courteous with viewers, yet remains deeply guarded toward the outside world and trusts Nøva alone. Earning Hikari’s deep trust and friendship is a demanding journey requiring patience, empathy, and time.
The single-player campaign offers a deeper emotional experience. As a central Generation II character with a complete arc, Hikari brings exceptional depth to a story marked by cruelty and tragedy. Viewers who value weighty narratives and mature character development will find much to engage with in her later life. This reflects hitorino’s distinctive creative style: a fusion of ACG aesthetics with the introspective, emotionally rich storytelling of European and American arthouse cinema—an approach intended to reach both traditional ACG audiences and more mature viewers drawn to serious artistic storytelling.
